Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan: Vikrant Massey And Shanaya Kapoor Strike Cute ‘Lovey-Dovey’ Pose In 1st Poster; Teaser Drops Soon

Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor are set to star in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, a musical love story that marks Shanaya’s Bollywood debut. The film, written by Manasi Bagla and directed by Santosh Singh, is adapted from Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It. It follows the romance between a visually impaired musician and a theatre artist, promising an emotional and fresh take on love.

The first poster of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan recently dropped, catching eyes instantly. It shows Vikrant and Shanaya sharing a tender moment on a carnival carousel. Vikrant wears a casual brown jacket, gently holding Shanaya’s hands, while Shanaya stuns in a red sequined dress with a thigh-high slit. Their chemistry looks natural and promising, sparking curiosity about their performance. The film features music by Vishal Mishra.

Sharing the poster, makers wrote, "Two hearts. One love. And countless Gustaakhiyan. Teaser Out Tomorrow!"

The film explores themes of perception, connection, and silent emotions, set against the whimsical backdrop of a carnival. It offers a new take on romance, balancing emotional moments with lightness.

However, the age gap between the leads (Vikrant is 38, Shanaya 25) has sparked some online debate. While some viewers noticed the difference, many are more focused on their on-screen dynamic. Shanaya’s parents, Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor are excited for her debut.

Produced by Manasi and Varun Bagla under Zee Studios and Mini Films, the film is scheduled for release on July 11, 2025.

Vikrant Massey And Shanaya’s Upcoming Projects

Vikrant Massey’s upcoming projects include White, directed by Siddharth Anand, where he plays spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He  has also joined Ranveer Singh’s Don 3, where he will play a villanous role for the first time.

Though she hasn’t debuted yet, Shanaya Kapoor has a busy slate too. Besides Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, she stars in the thriller Tu Yaa Main with Adarsh Gourav, releasing on Valentine’s Day 2026. She has completed shooting for JC with Abhay Verma and is reportedly set for a double role in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 3.
